​We are looking for a Network Maintenance Engineer who will join our client, a Global Technology and Engineering company.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management and maintenance for Enterprise IT Network Services for customers.

  • Application and IT infrastructure implementation, maintenance, operation, and engineering support.

  • Provide IT threat and risk assessment at the system level, as well as security solution architecting, design, planning, implementation, and validation.

  • Perform security networking implementation, maintenance support, and break-fix.

  • Troubleshooting and problem identification are part of the break-fix process for network services.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and security vulnerability assessments on network equipment for customers.

  • Create and maintain complete documentation for environment design, installation, support, and preventive maintenance.

  • Assist customers with the Security vulnerability advisory.

  • Create test cases and run proof of concept tests on new software and hardware before upgrading/deploying.

  • Create TAC cases with the primary vendor in complex problems until they are resolved.

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager / Service Delivery Manager to complete project deliverables and operational requests.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • ITE/Diploma/degree Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Security, or a related field is required.

  • Certification in CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, Alcatel, F5 LTM, or Network Security related products is preferred.

  • At least 1 year of hands-on technical support experience is required for junior roles, and at least 5 years of experience is required for senior positions.

  • Preferably knowledgeable and hands-on experience in any of the following areas:

    • LAN/WAN/WLAN components include Cisco/Alcatel/Arista-Switches/Routers, WLC, IPT, and VC.

    • Network Security Solutions: Fortinet, Juniper, Checkpoint, Cisco IPS/IDS, ISE, ACS & ASA, ESA, WSA, SMA, and others.

    • Network monitoring tools include SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, and Alcatel Omni-Vista.

    • Infoblox DNS/DHCP, NTP Server, F5 LTM/GTM, A10 LTM are examples of network appliances.

  • Highly self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented with demonstrated analytical and problem- solving ability.

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative setting with a strong focus on customer service.

  • Excellent communication, writing, and documentation abilities.

  • Able to work flexible hours, particularly after-hours scheduled maintenance windows, and to conduct 24 x 7 standby duties if necessary.

  • Recent graduates will be considered as well.
