Systems Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Maintenance Engineer, who will join our client, a Global Technology and Engineering company.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, configure, migrate, support, and troubleshoot servers and enterprise technologies.
Server software patching
Perform OS imaging, MDT, and Task sequence troubleshooting.
Handle requests for maintenance such as new versions, upgrades, patches, and scripts.
Development and testing of software packages.
Participate in the maintenance pricing and quoting tender.
Continuously stay up to date on the newest technological advances to preserve operational efficiency.
In senior positions, you will oversee monitoring active maintenance contracts, including but not limited to formulating plans and timetables, interacting with vendors, training employees, acquiring hardware/software, and team management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

ITE, Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Certifications in Microsoft SCOM, SCCM, MCSE, Storage, VMWare, Red Hat, and ITIL, as well as Cloud certifications.
A minimum of 1 year of hands-on technical support experience for junior positions and at least 5 years for senior ones.
Extensive knowledge of operating systems such as Microsoft, UNIX, LINUX, and Red Hat.
Knowledge of IT security and SSO products like CyberArk and Centrify.
System, storage hardware, storage management software, and storage networking experience, including disaster recovery
Understanding of tools and technologies such as Microsoft SQL, operating system imaging, software management tools and packaging, and so on.
Registry, permissions, drivers, and software knowledge are necessary.
Knowledge of WAN and LAN concepts, as well as the TCP/IP protocol stack
Willing to remain on standby 24/7.
